How do you become a CMA?

The direction and length of your CMA designation path is based on your educational background and professional experience.

To determine your eligibility, and receive a comprehensive path recommendation, please complete and submit the CMA Eligibility Review request form.

This is the most-precise way to confirm your eligibility for a CMA program and is highly recommended. Our admissions department looks forward to providing you with written confirmation of your standing as well as a recommendation on your optimal CMA path.

For a quick look at common paths to the CMA designation, please choose the sentence below that best describes you...

•  My university degree is (or will be) specialized in accounting.
•  My university degree is (or will be) in business, but not specifically accounting.
•  My university degree is not business-related.
•  I’m an executive or senior leader (and likely) interested in the Executive CMA Program
•  I’m already a professionally designated accountant (but not a CMA)
•  I do not have a degree (and am not in the process of completing one)
